Project: Providing comprehensive care and support for HIV-positive people in terms of dual epidemics of HIV and tuberculosis in the Donetsk region

Target groups of the project:

  • HIV-positive individuals who are prepared to start taking ART;
  • HIV-positive individuals who are taking antiretroviral therapy, but violate the treatment;
  • HIV-positive individuals who has just found out about their HIV status;
  • HIV-positive individuals who violate the dispensary observation;
  • HIV-positive persons faced with problems related to discrimination, violation of rights, loss of documents, need help with execution of payments, need to ensure access to health care and etc.
  • HIV-positive individuals with TB 1-3 category at the stage of ambulatory TB treatment on condition that it is at least one month to the end of treatment;
  • Individuals with TB 1-3 category at the stage of ambulatory TB treatment on condition that it is at least one month to the end of treatment;
  • HIV-positive individuals with limited functional status, temporarily or permanently incapable for independent movement and/or self-service (by objective medical grounds);
  • HIV-positive persons after surgical operations, trauma, stroke, etc.;
  • HIV-positive elderly clients who need care and help at home. 

                        

Project: Financial support for Conflict-Affected Populations in Eastern Ukraine

Inclusion criteria:

  • Families without any regular income (unemployed / not receiving social payments);
  • Families which have not stable food aid;
  • Families who are eligible for benefits, but cannot get them through the crisis.

Exclusion criteria:

  • Families which are receiving regular food or cash assistance
  • Families composed of 1 to 3 people, if the sum of all their social benefits above the average minimum living wage of 1218 UAH

      Preference is given to:

  • Families with a large number of children (2 and more)
  • Single mothers
  • Families with pregnant women and nursing women
  • Disabled of 1-3 groups
  • Elderly people (60 years and older)
  • People suffering from disease and need expensive treatments (e.g., it is required emergency surgery).

  The distribution of aid:

  • food set for family
  • Families that have 3 - 5 children receive 2 food sets
  • Families with six or more children receive 3 food sets.
